Took her for a drive around Cheddar just now, she found my hat in the back of the car and then proceeded to dance around and squeal like Michael Jackson :D
people doing daft things is always garanteed to make me smile :D

Well I think there is beauty in everything . . .
To be frank I am a bit of a hippy tho.
Nothing makes me happier that spending hours just wandering around the countryside by myself completely in tune with nature. At the moment my favourite haunt is anywhere in Dartmoor. I first visited Dartmoor for my birthday in Jan, we got snowed in admittedly, but I just loved it there. the moors are so rugged and peaceful and inspiring. I absolutely adore Hound Tor, which I discovered thanks to Seth Lakeman's Kitty Jay record. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gw6dPKorOBs
My friend and I went on a hunt for Jay's Grave in Manaton and found Hound Tor, its so mysterious and tranquil. the last time I went I climbed up it bare foot!
But I have never felt more at ease and at peace with the world and with myself than I do when I'm roaming about Dartmoor. There is just something about the area that seems to draw me in. I love it so much there that I am going to move there before the end of this year and live there for the rest of my life! ( well until i fall in love with some other place at least!)
The next place I want to find is Whistman's Wood, and Fox Tor, and the Hurlers, and the list will continue to grow as I discover more and more myths and folk stories and places of interest, and that's the beauty of it!
